We are collaborating with a renowned client in the Air Traffic Management domain to find a System and Software Requirements Engineer to join their team in Geneva.

📌 Your Role

As a System and Software Requirements Engineer, you will work on mission-critical systems, contributing to the development, testing, and validation of safety-critical software and hardware.

🎯 Your Main Responsibilities

  • Work autonomously within an Agile team with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with system end-users and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and functional specifications.
  • Analyze and interpret Functional System Requirements (FSRE) provided by Business Analysts.
  • Write, review, and update Equipment Requirements (ERE) using Polarion, ensuring traceability to FSRE.
  • Develop and maintain test cases to achieve full coverage of ERE.
  • Configure and set up test platforms for validation purposes.
  • Write and execute automated test scripts for test automation environments using tools like Squish and Python.
  • Perform manual and automated tests in integrated validation environments and during Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Document and analyze test results, report issues/bugs in the database, and participate in their classification and resolution.
  • Act as a point of contact for clarifying identified defects and related Equipment Requirements (ERE).

💼 Your Profile

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented professional with proven experience in the Air Traffic Management or safety-critical domains.

  • Experience: At least 5 years in Air Traffic Management or another safety-critical domain.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proven experience in writing system and software specifications.
  • Strong background in system and software testing.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools (Python, Squish, Jenkins).
  • Experience with Polarion is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of Java development and JUNIT for test automation is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with standards such as ED153, ED109A, or ED12B/C is highly valued.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical, adaptable, autonomous, and highly organized, with a strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken); French or German is a strong advantage.
