We are collaborating with a renowned client to find a Application Engineer to join their team in Geneva.

📌 Your Mission

As an Application Engineer, you will play a key role in creating, documenting, testing, and supporting critical applications while ensuring high levels of quality and security.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain application documentation, including system and software requirements and associated test cases.
• Review and test applications against specifications and establish test traceability.
• Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and create detailed reports.
• Identify, analyze, and document issues/bugs in the JIRA database.
• Synchronize and update the test results management tool.
• Conduct formal system tests, including Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Perform defect/incident analysis to identify root causes.
• Provide third-level maintenance support in collaboration with engineering, maintenance teams, and customers.
• Contribute to development activities when necessary.

💼 Your Profile

Technical Skills and Experience

• Experience: At least 5 years in air traffic control or similar domains with real-time and security requirements.
• Analysis and Documentation: Strong analytical skills to understand end-user needs and translate them into software requirements or test cases.
• Standards and Methodologies: Knowledge of ED153/ED109 or ED12B/C standards is highly valued.
• Tools: Experience with tools like IBM Rational DOORS or Siemens Polarion.
• Testing: Experience with test automation is a plus.

Personal Skills

• High analytical capacity with a rigorous and structured approach.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative team spirit and adaptability to dynamic environments.
• Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English; French or German is a plus.

Certifications and Additional Skills

• Experience working in agile or scaled agile environments is preferred.
• ATSEP certification is a strong advantage.
